Well Marked Low Pressure Area Condition

According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Northeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Southeast Bangladesh now lies over the Southeast Bangladesh. It is forecast likely to move Northwards and weaken into a Low Pressure Area during next (12) hours.
Due to the Well Marked Low Pressure Area, occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach about (40-45) mph. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet off and along Rakhine Coasts from tonight to (11.6.2023).
Due to the Well Marked Low Pressure Area, rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine States with likelihood of regionally and isolated heavyfalls in some Regions and States with strong wind from tonight to (11.6.2023).

Due to the Well Marked Low Pressure Area, people should be awared heavy rain with strong wind, flash flood and landslide in the hilly areas and near small rivers and also domestic flight, trawlers, vessels and ships off and along Myanmar Coasts.
