Condition of La Nina in March, 2025

  1. The Sea Surface Temperature (SST) over Tropical Pacific Ocean near the Equator and atmosphere phenomena is in a weak La Nina condition. According to the International Meteorological Agency, Numerical Weather prediction models are expected to return from weak to normal La Nina level during March.
  2. Although the La Nina conditions occur at Pacific Ocean, more frequently occur Easterly Waves, more low pressure areas may form over the Bay of Bengal, above Rainfall conditions will occur due to the impact of La Nina.
