Well Marked Low Pressure Area Condition

According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea still persists.It is likely to move Northwestwards and intensify into a Depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal during next (6) hours and into a Cyclonic Storm over the East Central Bay of Bengal in the evening of (8.5.2022). It is forecast continuous to move Northwestwards and reach to West Central Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (off north Andhra-PradeshOdisha coasts, India) around (10.5.2022) and recurve to North-Northeastwards and reach to Northwest Bay of Bengal (off Odisha coast, India).
General caution
Due to the well marked low pressure area, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, AyeyarwadyRegions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and scattered in the remaining Regions and Stateswith likelihood of regionally and isolated heavyfalls in some Regions and States from today noon to (12.5.2022).Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along MyanmarCoasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet off and along MyanmarCoasts.
