Well Marked Low Pressure Area Condition

According to the observations at 12:30 hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area over Southwest and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved Northwestwards and further intensified into a well marked low pressure area over Southwest and adjoining westcentral Bay of Bengal. It is likely to move North- Northwestwards.Thereafter,it is likely to recurve North-Northeastwards and weaken gradually over central Bay of Bengal on 10-4-2025.
Due to the well marked low pressure area, rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin Mon, Rakhine, Shan States during today afternoon to 10-4-2025. Rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls during 11-4-2025 to 15-4-2025.
