28-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has almost stationary. It is centered at about 730 Nautical miles West-Southwest of CoCo Island (Myanmar), 265 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai (India). The centre pressure of Deep Depression is 999 hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is 35-40 miles per hour. Weather is cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, due to western disturbances and eastern disturbances, rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered to fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States, isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States during today evening to (4.4.2019).
