A low pressure area may form over the South Bay of Bengal. Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain or thundershowers will be expected above normal in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Chin States, about normal in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and below normal in the remaining Regions and States.
Rainy days are expected about (5) to (6) days in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Chin States, about (3) to (4) days in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and about (2)days in the remaining Regions and States.

Day temperature will be above April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and about January average temperatures in the remaining regions and States.
