1-12-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts almost stationary and it is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 75 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

 The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise about (4 - 5) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha, and Thabeikkyin, about (1- 2) feet at Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku and Nyaung Oo, and about (½) foot at Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun during the first (10) days of April.

  The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to rise about (3 -4) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin and  about (2-3) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa during the first  (10) days of April.
