SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan (North and East) and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Bago and Yangon Regions, Shan(East and South), Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (5°C) each in Hakha and Pinlaung, (6°C) in Putao and (7°C) in Naungcho.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 31th December, 2016: Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagiang, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.
