SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kachin and Chin States, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Naypyitaw, fairly widespread in Mandalay and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan (East and South) and Kayah States, scattered in Magway and Bagon Regions, Rakhine and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy in Naypyitaw and isolated heavy falls in Mandalay Region. Night temperatures were (5°C) above November average temperature in Shan (East and South) and Kayah States, (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, Northern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperature was (10°C) in Hkamti. The noteworthy amounts of rainfalls recorded were Naypyitaw (Yezin) (3.58)inches, Manaung (2.40)inches, Pyinmana (2.09) inches, Meikthila and Naypyitaw (Zabuthiri) (1.97)inches each, Hinthada (1.69)inches and Zalun (1.61)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th November, 2016: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Chin and Mon States, scattered in Mandalay, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan (East and South), Kayah and Kayin States, fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
