SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region, Eastern Shan and Kayin States, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions and Chin State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, and Kachin Sthate, scattered in Ayeyarwady Region, Southern Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Mandalay Region. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C)above November average temperatures in Kachin, Shan (North and East) and Rakhine States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (10°C) in Loilin, (12°C) each in Pinlaung and Hakha. The noteworthy amounts of rainfalls recorded were Singu (2.13)inches, Pakokku (1.06) inches, Falam (0.94)inch, Monywa (Kyehmon) (0.91)inch, Hakha (0.86)inch, Kalay (0.82)inch and Mandalay (0.79)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (11:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over North Bay of Bengal has moved to East-Northeast wards. It is centered at about (120)miles Southwest of Chittagong (Bangladesh) and (90)miles South - Southeast of Khepupara (Bangladesh). It is forecast to move East-Northeast wards, weaken gradually and likely to cross Southeast Bangladesh coast during next (6)hrs. Weather is partly cloudy over the Northwest and West Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7th November, 2016: Weather will be partly cloudy in Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin State, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Northern Shan and Rakhine States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Chin and Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35 - 40)m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuous of increase of rain in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States.
