SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Southern Shan, Chin and Kayah States, isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Yangon Regions, Northern Shan and Mon States, weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were about November average temperatures in the whole country. The significant night temperatures were (11°C) in Loilin, (13°C) each in Pinlaung and Hkamti. The noteworthy amounts of rainfalls recorded were Coco-Island (1.61)inches, Naypyitawairport(ELA) (1.22)inches, Kyaukhtu (0.69)inch, Theinzayet (0.51)inch and Moekok (0.47)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved to North-Northwestwards. It is centered at about (130)miles Southeast of Vishakhapatnam (India), (270)miles South-Southwest of Paradip (India), (470)miles Southwest of Khepupara(Bangladesh). It is forecast to move initially North- Northwestwards and then recurve Northeast direction towards Bangladesh coast during next (48)hrs. Weather is partly cloudy over Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5th November, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region, Chin and Rakhine States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35)m.p.h.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered to fairly widespread in Sagaing Region, Chin and Rakhine States.
