22-12-2024: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Southwestwards and reach to Southwest Bay of Bengal(North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh Coasts)India during 24-12-2024. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal partly and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. Weather is partly cloudy over the North and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 20th October, 2016: Weather is partly cloudy in Kachin, Northern Shan and Kayah States. Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Chin State, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago and Yangon Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltic, Gulf of Mottama off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate in elsewhere Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region.
