SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Mandalay and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Rakhine States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Bago Region, Southern Shan, Kayin and Mon States, isolated in Upper Sagaing, Magway and Yangon Regions, (Northern and Eastern) Shan and Chin States, weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Mandalay Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Meikhtila (2.60)inches, Kawkayeit (2.56)inches, Dawei (1.85)inches, Moemate (1.18)inches, Pathein (1.06) inches and Longlone (1.02)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and monsoon is generally moderate over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
