BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over West central Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 29th August, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Sagaing and Magway Regions, Rakhine State, fairly widespread in Kachin, Shan, Chin and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Bago and Yangon Regions, Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.
