3-11-2025:  According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Eastcentral Bay and adjoining near Deltic coast, Myanmar still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and may reach over the Eastcentral Bay and adjoining Northeast Bay of Bengal and off and along Rakhine coasts and adjoining Deltic coasts during next 24 hours. Weather is few cloud over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and  partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area  over Northeast Bay of Bengal adjoining Northwest and East Central Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 1st August, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Kachin and Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Chin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough sea will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40-45) m.p.h.
