BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 4th July, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Shan (East and South) State, Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Northern Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region and Rakhine State and  isolated heavy falls in Mandalay Region, Kachin and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase of rain in Rakhine Coast.
