SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperatures in Mandalay and Ayeyarwady Regions and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (3°C) in Heho, (4°C) each in Lashio, Namsam, Pinlaung and Pyinoolwin and (5°C) each in Moekok, Loilin and Kyaukmae.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 7th February, 2015: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Kachin State, weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Strong easterly winds with moderate to rough sea are likely at times off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in strong easterly wind may reach (30) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Slight decrease of night temperatures in Eastern Myanmar areas.
