SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather have been partly cloudy to cloudy in Nay Pyi Taw, Ayeyarwady Region, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Bago Region and Rakhine State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below November average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region, (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Kachin and Shan States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperature was (11°C) in Tiddim. The noteworthy amounts of rainfalls recorded were Mawlaik (1.22) inches, Mindat and Palatwa (1.19)inches each, Saw (1.11)inches and Pyinoolwin (1.07)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 2nd November, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan and Chin States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Rakhine State, scattered in Nay Pyi Taw, Kachin and Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of rain or thundershowers in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States.
