8-1-2026 : According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and it is centered at about 735 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 250 Nautical miles Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 455 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations and analysis of meteorological conditions at (13:30) hrs MST today, under the influence of unstable air condition of over Bay of Bengal rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in the following Regions and States with regionally and isolated heavy falls during the next (3) days commencing afternoon today.  

 Rain are likely to be above three inches- (77)mm in  Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Rakhine States during (24) hours.

 Rain are likely to be above (1.5) inches- (38)mm  in Lower Sagaing and  Magway Regions during (24) hours.
