SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Ayeyarwady Region, Kachin and Shan States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Bago and Yangon Regions, Kayin State, fairly widespread in Rakhine and Mon states and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regional heavy falls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavy falls in Magway Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Singaing (2.98) inches, Tada U (2.09)inches, Falam (2.01)inches, Kyaukse (1.73)inches, Minbu (1.69) inches, Kyeikkhame (1.61)inches. and Phyu (1.54)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak in the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weather is partly cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 3rd October, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Yangon Region, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States, scattered in Nay Pyi Taw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan and Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight moderate in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of thundery activities in the Southern Myanmar areas.
