SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Nay Pyi Taw, Upper Sagaing Region, Chin, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kachin State, widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Mandalay Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Madaya (2.83)inches, Meikhtila (2.64)inches, Myaungmya (2.36)inches, Kawthong (2.17)inches and Yangon(North Dagon) (1.77) inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the North Bay, monsoon is weak to moderate in the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 28th September, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of  southwest monsoon withdrawal from Deltaic areas.
