BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs MST today, yesterday's the depression over Northeast Bay of Bengal is centered at about (90)miles West– Southwest of Chittagong (Bangladesh ), (140)miles West – Northwest of Maungdaw (Myanmar ) and (190)miles Northwest of Sittwe (Myanmar ). It was moved slightly Westwards. Monsoon is moderate to strong in the Andaman Sea and South Bay and vigorous elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 27th July, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States and isolated heavy falls in Lower Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan and Kayin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough sea will be experienced in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (45) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate to rough elsewhere in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase of rain in the Central Myanmar areas.
