SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing Region and Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Yangon Regions, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Madauk (2.52)inches, Kawthong (2.17)inches, Kyauktaw (1.77)inches, Thayarwady (1.62)inches and Shwegyin (1.45)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 14th June, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Mandalay Region, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar water.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in the Northern Myanmar areas.
