SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region and Mon State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Yangon Regions, Shan State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Myitkyina (2.01) inches, Myingyan (1.42) inches, Saw (1.40) inches, Sinphyugyun (1.34) inches, Pyinmana (1.26) inches and Phyarpon (1.18) inches.  

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 7th June, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States, scattered in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar water.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of thundery activities in the Northern Myanmar areas.
