SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Chin, Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below January average temperature in Taninthayi Region, 2°C below January average temperatures in Kayin, Eastern Shan States and 2°C above January average temperatures in Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 0.5°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 1.5°C in Hakha, 2.3°C in Loilin, 3.0°C in Pyinoolwin, 4.5°C in Heho, 5.2°C in Tiddim, 5.3°C in Mongyang, 6.6°C in Putao, 7.5°C in Minesat, 7.8°C in Taunggyi and 8.0°C in Machanbaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14thJanuary 2025: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
