SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Chin, Rakhine, Northern Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below January average temperature in Rakhine State and 2°C above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayin, Mon States, 3°C above January average temperature in (Northern and Eastern) Shan State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 0.0°C in Hakha, 5.2°C in Pyinoolwin, 5.4°C in Heho, 5.5°C in Tiddim, 6.0°C each in Namsan(Southern Shan) and Pinlaung, 7.1°C in Loilin, 7.2°C in Putao, 7.4°C in Myitkyina and 8.3°C in Taunggyi.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 2nd January 2025: Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Chin, Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Chin, Shan States.
