SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been fairly widespread in Kayah State, scattered in Southern Shan State and isolated in Naypyitaw. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Yangon Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah States and 3°C above November average temperature in Rakhine State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 6.2°C in Hakha, 9.2°C in Pyinoolwin 10.0°C in Heho, 10.1°C in Namsam(Southern Shan), 10.3°C in Tiddim, 10.6°C in Loilin and 12.0°C each in Myitkyina and Mongyang. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 0.75 inch in Loikaw, 0.28 inch in Pinlaung and 0.08 inch in Pyinmana.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Special Features: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs MST today, the Tropical Storm“(TORAJI)” over the South China Sea is likely forecast to continue to move slowly westwards and weaken into a Tropical Depression.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th November 2024: Rain will be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan, Kayah States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be generally fair in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
