SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin, Kayin States, scattered in Taninthayi Region and Northern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Mon State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region. Night temperatures were 2°C below November average temperatures in Bago Region and Chin State and 2°C above November average temperatures in Southern Shan, Kayah States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 6.2°C in Hakha, 9.8°C in Tiddim, 10.9°C in Pyinoolwin and 12.7°C in Myitkyina. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 4.38 inches in Bogale, 2.83 inches in Labutta, 2.45 inches in Ngapudaw, 2.13 inches in Phyarpon, 1.93 inches in Mawlamyinekyun, 1.80 inches in Kyaiklat, 1.48 inches in Thabaung, 1.42 inches in Hainggyigyun and 1.38 inches in Maubin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea, Central Bay and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Special Features: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs MST today, the Typhoon“(YINXING)” over the South China Sea is likely forecast to continue to move slowly West-Northwestwards.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th November 2024: Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States. Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions, fairly widespread in (Southern and Eastern)Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region and Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States.
