24-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over East Equatorial India Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal around 25-11-2024. Thereafter, its likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu(India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea, Eastcentral Bay and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 8th November 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing ,Mandalay, Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
