28-10-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “MONTHA” over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards and reached over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is centered at about 585 Nautical miles West of Coco Island (Myanmar), 195 Nautical miles East-Northeast of Chennai(India), 160 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and intensify into Severe Cyclonic Storm during next 6 hours and cross Andhra Pradesh Coast during next 24 hours. Weather is Cloudy over the West central Bay of Bengal, a few cloud to partly cloudy  Andaman Sea  and lsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 6th November 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
