BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 18th October 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Bago and Taninthayi Regions. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
