BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the interior of West Bengal (India) almost stationary still persists . Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 15th September 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Chin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Sagaing Region and Chin, Rakhine States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35-40 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
