7-1-2026 According to the observations at 18:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has move West-Northwest. It is centered at about 645 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 420 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 605 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay,  partly cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 7th July 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region and Kayah State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions , fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing  Region. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing  in  Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan,Chin States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:  Continuations of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
