SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Chin State, scattered in Southern Shan State, fairly widespread in (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 4.45 inches in Labutta, 4.25 inches in Hkamti, 2.76 inches in Theinzayet, 2.40 inches in Manaung, 1.97 inches in Kyaunggon, 1.88 inches in Mawlamyinegyun, 1.58 inches each in Pathein and Belin, 1.38 inches in Okkan and 1.20 inches in Thabaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7th July 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw and Chin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Shan, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin State. THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
