BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Northeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Low Pressure Cell over off Rakhine coast of Myanmar and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal still persists . It is likely continue to move Northwest wards and it may further intensify into a Low Pressure Area over the Eastcentral Bay and adjoining Northeast Bay of Bengal during next (12)hrs.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 29th September 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kachin, Northern Shan States, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and (Southren and Eastren) Shan States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, , Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
