BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Bay of Bengal.
Special features: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs MST today, a low pressure cell has formed over the Andaman Sea. It is forecast likely to move Northwestwards.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 25th November, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States and isolated in Bago Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30) to (35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
