SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Taninthayi Region, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, (Northern & Southern)Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperature were (3°C) below December average temperature in Northern Shan State, (2°C) below December average temperatures in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin and Rakhine States and (3°C) above December average temperature in Mon State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (5°C) in Tiddim and (6°C) in Heho. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Kawthoung (0.70)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea now lies over the Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to further intensify into a depression during next (12)hrs. Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th DECEMBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Strong easterly winds with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface winds speed in strong easterly winds may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (4-8)feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of light rain in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State.
