SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan State, sacttered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon Regions and Kachin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region and (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.54) inches in Kyaukpyu, (2.44) inches in Hpapun, (2.17) inches in Manaung, (1.93) inches in Sittwe, (1.50) inches in Ann, (1.30) inches in Paletwa, (1.22) inches in Maungdaw, (1.18) inches in Taungkok and (1.14) inches in Shwekyin.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 05th July, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Chin, Rakhine, Mon States, fairly widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayin States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
