SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and Northern Shan, Chin States, fairly widespread in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.95) inches in Manaung, (2.64) inches in Sittwe, (2.56) inches in Thandwe, (2.32) inches in Myitkyina, (1.93) inches in Pinlaebu, (1.89) inches each in Kyaukpyu and Kawkareik, (1.69) inches in Ye, (1.57) inches in Thaton, (1.46) inches in Central-Yangon, (1.38) inches in Dawei and (1.30) inches in Launglon.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26thJune, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Shan, Chin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
