BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 20th June, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfall in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfall in Chin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-10)feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and (5-7)feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
