BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 19th June, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Southern Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Chin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about(8 -11)feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and (6-8)feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
