BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 19th June, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay Region, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about(9 -12)feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and (6-8)feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
