BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 18th June, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions, fairly widespread in Magway Region and Kachin State and widespread in the taremaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon Regions and Kachin, Chin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely attimes off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-12) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Moderate to strong monsoon.
