BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 16th June, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Kachin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely attimes off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-12) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
