BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 7th July, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Shan (East and South) State, scattered in Mandalay Region, Northern Shan and Kayah States and widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 - 9) feet in Myanmar Coast.
