3-11-2025:  According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Eastcentral Bay and adjoining near Deltic coast, Myanmar still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and may reach over the Eastcentral Bay and adjoining Northeast Bay of Bengal and off and along Rakhine coasts and adjoining Deltic coasts during next 24 hours. Weather is cloudy over the North Andaman Sea, Northeast Bay and Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Magway Region, scattered in Northern Shan, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region, widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago,Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with regionally heavy falls in Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Taungkok (5.63)inches, Paletwa (4.29)inches, Hkamti (3.94)inches, Ann (3.27)inches, Maugdaw (3.19)inches, Sittwe (3.07)inches, Gwa (2.87)inches, Kyauktaw (2.80)inches and Myauk U (2.56)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 4th July, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, scattered in Mandalay Region and Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Shan (North and South) State, widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Rakhine State and  isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin and Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 9) feet in Deltaic, Rakhine Coast and (4 - 7) feet in Gulf of Mottama and Mon - Taninthayi Coast.
