BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25^th AUGUST, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Shan and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States, isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States.
