26-10-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 415 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 405 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 430 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours, Severe Cyclonic Storm may form on 28-10-2025 and may cross Andhra Pradesh Coast on that night. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Upper Sagaing Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Taninthayi Region and isolated  heavy falls in Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and  Mon State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Launglon (6.69) inches, Dawei (6.30)inches, Coco Island (5.40)inches, Yay (4.22)inches, Hainggyigyun (3.74)inches, Mingin (3.11)inches, Mawlaik (2.84)inches, Chaungsone (2.72) inches, Kyeikkhame (2.52)inches, Hpapun (2.32)inches, Gwa (2.24)inches, Shan-Ywar-Thit (2.22) inches, Tamu (2.13)inches, Kalewa (2.00)inches, Putao (1.89)inches, Mudon (1.85)inches, Mawlamyine (1.78)inches,  Labutta (1.77)inches, Myeik (1.74)inches, Belin and Theinzayet (1.73)inches each.  

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over the Northwest Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7thAUGUST, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Taninthayi Region and isolated heavy falls in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Sea will be moderate to rough elsewhere in Myanmar waters.  Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 - 12)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (6 - 9)feet in off and along Rakhine Coasts.
