SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been widespread in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan State, fairly widespread in Mon States, scattered in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Eastern Shan, Kayah and Kayin States and isolated in Mandalay and Bago Regions, Chin and Rakhine States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below November average temperature in Kachin State and (2°C) above November average temperatures in Magway and Bago Regions, Chin and Mon States, (3°C) above November average temperatures in Rakhine and Kayah States and (5°C) above November average temperature in Southern Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperature were (10°C) each in Putao and Hakha. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Namsam (2.60)inches, Yangon (Kaba-Aye) (1.77)inches, Taunggyi and Heho (1.41) inches each, Hainggyigyun (1.10)inches and  Mawlamyine (0.99)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30) MST today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal still persists. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13thNOVEMBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan (East and South), Rakhine and Kayah States and isolated in Naypyitaw and Mandalay Region. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 - 7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and Mon State.
