SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine State. Rain or thundershower have been widespread in Yangon, Mandalay Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 2°C above April average temperature in Kachin State, 2°C below April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions, Kayah, Chin, Rakhine and Southern Shan States, 3°C below April average temperatures in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions, 5°C below April average temperature in Yangon Region, 8°C below April average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 39.9°C in Chauk, 39.7°C in Sinbyugyun, 39.6°C in Myinmu, 39.0°C each in Nyaungoo and Kyaukse(Lunkyaw), 38.8°C each in Myingyan, Yamethin, Monywa and Sagaing and 38.5°C each in Pakokku and Taungdwingyin on 13-4-2025. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 1.32 inches in Mongping, 1.10 inches in Kengtung, 1.06 inches in Khayan, 0.84 inch in Mong Khat, 0.79 inch each in Yamethin and Monghpyak, 0.71 inch each in Nyaung Shwe and Minesat, 0.63 inch in Thazi(Hlaingtat) and 0.59 inch each in Kawkareik and Mudon.

BAYINFERENCE: Weather is a few colud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th April 2025: Rain or thundershower will be fairly widespread in Yangon, Bago Regions and Kayah, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Kayin,  Mon, Northern Shan States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Rain or thundershower scattered to fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States.
